– is hiring a full-time Security Specialist/Classification Manager with TS/SCI at it's Springfield, VA location.

Responsibilities:
Provide operational continuity of programs; establish/provide program guidance; track assigned tasks; and monitor program operations as required. Liaises with SES/SIS and Flag Officer members of the DOD, the IC, Federal Agencies and Senior Corporate companies on Sensitive Support to ensure the protection of the associate programs, personnel and information. Review and develop internal processes to support programs. Take security requirements and develop the required program/ operation to support the task or requirement. Collaborate with DoD, IC and Federal Agency department colleagues, to review and research data to assist in providing responses in accordance with findings. Conduct quality assurance on products, documents, deliverables and correspondence prior to release to customer. Prepares and delivers briefings to internal and external senior level government customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist the Directorate stakeholders in implementing appropriate classification management efforts (at the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral levels) by providing approved classification guidance, release procedures, and marking criteria.
  • Ensure that sound classification management practices are implemented and applied to support special security mission.
  • Share knowledge and experience to facilitate effective practices and increase staff awareness of best practices.
  • Provide timely classification management expertise to resolve complex classification management issues.
  • Maintain personal classification expertise through collaboration with IC classification management communities.
  • Write, review or evaluate Security Classification Guides
  • Develop innovative techniques to implement training and compliance with established classification management policies.
  • Participate in related training, informational briefings, and assist in responding to related agency taskers.
  • Provide classification guidance to relevant stakeholders and key components within the IC community.
  • Administer/provide security classification guidance and perform document and classification reviews.
  • Obtain Access to Special Access Program (SAP), Control Access Program (CAP) and/or Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) Information as required for the execution of NGA’s sensitive program mission.
Qualifications:
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully complete a polygraph examination.

Required Education/
Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • 7-10 years of related experience
