Position Overview

This position is for a high energy security professional who will oversee the design, implementation, and execution of quality systems for Guard Security across Windwalker’s accounts throughout New England. The Security Services Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, designing, participating in, and overseeing programs which support consistency for Windwalker’s Brand of Security Guard Services. This successful candidate will help achieve consistently excellent services for the segment’s contractual requirements to our partner clients. The position location is in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, based at Windwalker’s Charlestown office, and reports to the Director of Protection and Preparedness.


Responsibilities:


General

  • Manage and participate in the programmatic adherence to ISO 9001 compliance standards for security operations across Windwalker accounts.
  • Design, oversee, and execute systems which support Brand standardization across multiple accounts including Uniforms, Standards of Operations, Inspections, and Reporting.
  • Provide support to security leads at onsite locations, conduct ongoing standards of operations performance assessments.
  • Prepare weekly client quality reports.
  • Input data to daily, weekly, and monthly business unit reports related to Quality of services.
  • Review employee timesheets and approvals to support timely submissions for corporate payroll.
  • Manage subcontractor partners as directed.


Security

  • Maintain computer-based records for multiple guard sites.
  • Ensure standards of quality are met and maintained across all sites.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of training and evaluating security services.
  • Inspect arms/ammunition inventories and corporate-owned and client-owned equipment in our care and custody under contract terms on a periodic basis to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Inspect the adherence of onsite enforcement of Windwalker’s disciplinary matrix and standards of conduct.
  • Schedule, assign, and conduct regular, periodic visits to all guard sites and shifts.
  • Provide Security expertise.
  • Develop, draft, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
  • As needed, respond to the clients’ needs in real-time, e. g., severe weather occurrences, accidents, etc. and support security staffing as needed.
  • Manage Windwalker’s vehicle fleet.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years’ experience as a security officer, emergency management professional, or related position.
  • College Degree, preferably in a security related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Self-driven, ability to work autonomously; demonstrate clear initiative while understanding and maintaining organizational hierarchy (chain of command).
  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; expert-level urged.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience confirming excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of security, law enforcement, or emergency management training.
