JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Unarmed Security Guard
CLASSIFICATION: Security - Part Time Positions Available
REPORTS TO: Operations Controller / Sr. Operations Controller
SCHEDULE: Day Shift, Saturday-Tuesday 10:30AM-6:30PM
LOCATION: Seattle area.
PAY: $20-22 per hr.

ESSENTIAL ROLE:
Our Security Guards play a crucial role in our company by keeping clients safe, serving as a visual deterrent, patrolling, removing unauthorized personnel from the premises, and other essential duties to prevent theft, fire, vandalism, and other illegal acts.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Serve as a visible deterrent
  • Patrol the facility to report potential safety or security risks
  • Respond to incidents promptly
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in both written and oral communications
  • Use innovative industry leading technology
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports
  • Escort property employees to their vehicle's
Physical Demands:
  • This position involves regular walking and standing for extended periods of time
  • Some kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be involved.
  • Specific vision abilities such as visual acuity and awareness in certain situations.
  • Involves moving and/or lifting at least 25 lbs.
  • Ability to use restraints in an apprehension.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Must be 18+ years of age for all unarmed locations.
  • High school diploma/GED, or equivalent job-related experience
  • Basic computer/mobile device skills
  • Security guard license in WA State (We can assist with this during training!)
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Must possess stress tolerance and de-escalation mindset
  • Must be a team player who strives for improvement!

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE/CERTIFICATIONS: (Preferred not required!)
  • Valid state driver's license / safe driving record ( For operating company vehicles)
  • Armed security guard license
  • CJTC certification & firearms license
  • CPR & first aid certification
  • Bilingual
