We are seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Kapolei location plant security. The Security Guard will ensure a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, materials and assets on premise. Prepare a security guard shift report/log documenting security activity, observations and incidents. The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year of experience in physical security, including experience with security monitoring systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Guard Employee Registration (“Guard Card”) – not required for application purposes, but must receive within 3 months of hire.
• Must have the ability to read and write.
• Good oral and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use telephone and portable radio.
• Working knowledge of computer operation.
• Available to work over-time as needed, weekends, holidays or rotating shifts.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand, bend, stoop, twist with flexibility, and walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.
