We are a private gated community looking for a part-time person to join our security team.
The position is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 11:00pm-7:00am in our front entrance guard house. This is a year-round position. The right candidate would begin training as a roving (patroling) officer from 5:00pm-1:00am to become familiar with the procedures and property then move into the 3rd shift when considered ready.
Job Experience Required, any of the following:
- Class D Security License,
- Security Experience,
- Law Enforcement,
- Military Security Background
Job Requirements:
- All interactions with those entering the property must be in a respectful, friendly manner yet be able to enforce the policies, procedures, and responds to an emergency situation in a professional and calm manner
- Monitors and authorizes entrance to property. Must have knowledge in software applications with the ability to use multiple applications in a timely manner.
- Continuously monitors security surveillance cameras and reports any prohibited activities
- Maintains accurate shift logs and reports
- Adherance to the work schedule is expected and must be able to work holidays, if occurs on scheduled day
- Always has a clean and professional appearance
- Reliable transportation
