Role Overview

The Security Awareness and Engagement Manager is responsible for the development of engaging educational and marketing content supporting the global security awareness and engagement projects. They will develop and deliver campaigns and training plans to ensure our program meets compliance requirements and encourages security-minded behaviors. This position will report to the Global Security Awareness Leader

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Understand learning needs based on risk, RTX policies and standards, security or privacy frameworks, or Awareness initiatives.
  • Develop security awareness and learning materials for awareness campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage gamified engagement opportunities.
  • Develop campaign material for industry events (i.e., Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Data Privacy Day)
  • Manage Intranet page copy and design, ensuring content is accurate, and employee-centric.
  • Coordinate awareness champion network activities.
  • Manage and maintain champion membership and access to awareness materials.
  • Develop awareness and learning materials to enable security champions.
  • Send surveys and other feedback mechanisms to measure adoption of the program.
  • Assist with monthly phishing campaigns and reinforcement program.
  • Gather metrics on program health and impact.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience marketing complex messages in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.
  • Proficient in assessing and applying different communication and engagement methods (social, blogging, videos, digital messaging, printed materials, events, etc.) to bring awareness and enable employees.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic, and critical thinking.
  • Competent in the concepts of organizational behavior, culture, and how culture impacts how people behave, learn, and interact with others.
  • Competent in the latest cybersecurity risks, threat actors and their changing tactics.
  • SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) credential or any certifications in Organizational Change, Marketing, Instructional Design or Communications is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity/experience with compliance standards and programs such as NIST, GDPR, and ISO27001.

Education:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.

The salary range for this role is $94,000 to $196,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
