Seasonal Tax Preparer Job at Anthony & Associates, CPAs
Job Summary
This is a seasonal position during our busy tax season (January – April). Hours are flexible. You will prepare individual and small business tax returns. We are looking to find long term candidates that will return each tax season.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of individual Form 1040, Schedule A, Schedule C, Schedule D, Schedule E, State of Illinois returns, etc.
- Experience in preparation of Corporate, Partnership, or Trust returns, a plus.
- While this is a seasonal position, there is the opportunity to work full or part-time after tax season.
- Will work at our Barrington office
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
- 2+ years experience completing individual returns required
- Degree in accounting is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with computer, Microsoft Office software
- Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate could be someone semi-retired or a stay-at-home parent
- ProSeries tax software
- QuickBooks - both desktop and online versions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
