Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up machinery for production and ensure all necessary materials are available- Operate and monitor production equipment and replenish materials as needed
- Visually inspect production run and document results
- Determine and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties
- Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred- 1-3 years of general work experience required
- 1+ year of forklift experience required, prior warehouse or production experience preferred
- Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment and/or knowledge of industrial technology a plus
- Must have the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
- Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
