Scrap Grinder – Job at Spencer Industries
Responsible to insure that all trim and scrap is properly sorted and kept separated by color and chemical content prior to grinding and also during storage after being ground. Insures maximum reusable yield from the scrap, which is generated from the production process through the regrind/salvage operations. Insures correct weight in containers. Performs other work as directed by Supervision. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.
Specific Duties
- Place plastic scrap in proper grinder, using care not to commingle material or damage machine.
- Perform other tasks as per the Lead Scrap Grinder

Qualifications
Knowledge of material types and properties. Must have valid forklift license.

Reports to the Lead Scrap Grinder
