Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler. This role will primarily support scheduling for Instrumentation and Electrical work with back up scheduling coverage for all site maintenance crafts. This role is additionally responsible for administration of the sites PM Compliance program as summarized below.

Job Duties

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential)

  • Ensures maintenance resources are scheduled to 100% of available capacity.
  • Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance to assure work is scheduled according to priority and in a sequence that maximizes efficiency.
  • Finalizes and publishes maintenance schedules on time according to the established process flow.
  • Participate in and facilitate daily and weekly scheduling meetings with Operations and Maintenance.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities to maximize the efficiency of executing maintenance work.
  • Assures mandated preventative Maintenace plans are created and accurate.
  • Validates preventative maintenance plans are updated with inputs from RCM, EI and IPF processes.
  • Assures preventative work orders are executed before the due dates.
  • Reports and documents deferrals for mandatory preventative maintenance tasks that cannot be completed.
  • Attends and provides input for RCM Living Programs and Bad Actor Reviews.
  • Works to continuously improve PM plans, strategies and schedule coordination.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of job-related experience is required.


Education Level

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Trade School of journeyman/craftsman training is preferred.


Required Skills

Knowledge of refinery operations and craft knowledge. Extensive knowledge of refinery instrumentation and electrical, including planning, required. Knowledge of safe work practices related to the specified fields. Intermediate leadership, interpersonal, organization oral, basic reading and writing skills with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Computer skills necessary to operate SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Ability to lead and train a small group of employees. Multi-tasking and team orientation skills. Self-starter and safety sensitive. Troubleshooting skills and ability to function effectively in a team atmosphere. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.

Prior experience scheduling and/or using Prometheus as a scheduling tool desired.

Work Conditions

Office and field based with up to 5% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environment, including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment and working in confined spaces. Subject to varying road and weather conditions. Periodic overtime required. Required to respond to plant related emergencies and be available after hours during critical business situations depending on location.

Salary Range: The salary range includes the minimum, midpoint, and maximum base salary values. A candidate's offer can vary depending on differentiating factors, including but not limited to education, training, or experience.

This position has a salary minimum of $81,100.00and maximum of $141,900.00.
