Role: SCADA Specialist

Location: Watkins, CO

Job type: Fulltime/Permanent

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

The right specialist for this role will have an equivalent combination of education, training, experience, and desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced organization. We are looking for a specialist that wants to work collaboratively with the existing SCADA team, engineering, operations, finance, and executives. This role includes the following responsibilities.

· Provide day-to-day SCADA operational support which requires someone that can maintain, troubleshoot, and moderate SCADA software/hardware and process control applications.

· Establish and maintain effective relationships within a cross-functional team employees to oversee the design, development, proof of concept, testing, and upgrades to the SCADA network communications infrastructure with operational input from water/wastewater operators and engineering.

· Assume responsibility for installation, maintenance, and upgrading of various field devices throughout our systems.

· Continuous maintenance and upgrades to SCADA system.

· Control circuit troubleshooting and data communication monitoring.

· System access management (includes working with our outsourced IT firm to ensure the highest levels of security are maintained).

· Prepare written documentation to produce traceable information paths including design, instrument calibration, system engineering, and drawings, as applicable.

· Maintain pertinent technical library materials.

· Program and generate a variety of reports on system operations for end users.

· Respond to emergency situations as necessary, including after hours.

The right specialist will have the following qualifications:

· Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent field of study, or completion of an intensive bootcamp or technical training course.

· ISA CCST Level I - III Certification will be given preference.

· At least three (3) years of field experience including, repair and troubleshooting of electronic process control equipment, and motor control centers.

· Knowledgeable in reading and designing electrical schematics.

· Current Driver’s license with good driving history.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
