Position Description

The Salesforce Developer will design world-class Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM, engagement, and scheduling requirements. This position will be responsible for developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Developer, will also gather user requirements, analyze project objectives, create customer workflows, and troubleshoot errors. This role requires experience working with Salesforce CRM platforms, Health Cloud, Field Service Lighting, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. This role will interact directly with stakeholders at all levels, which requires the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with project managers to determine CRM needs, create timelines, and development goals
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform that align with business needs and priorities
  • Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
  • Test and monitor the stability and functionality of the application
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs
  • Write documents and provide technical training for Salesforce staff
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or other related field
  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on application and software development experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms.
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces and designing scalable, best practice solutions
  • Experience in change management and governance
  • Experience training end users and key stakeholders
  • Experience writing technical documentation
  • Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce
  • Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues
  • Ability to project manage
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of mavensMate or eclipse.
  • Active in the Salesforce community
