We are looking for a Corporate Sales Support Manager to be responsible for providing direction and support to Inside Sales, Territory Managers, and Product Management teams to meet sales, margin, and inventory management goals. This position provides support to the organization and assists in the coordination of all sales functions to ensure maximum sales volume and profitability. Our ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented and sales-minded professional with excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship development/maintenance skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, four years of relevant sales experience, and ten+ years of building materials industry knowledge and experience; or any combination of educational training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales representatives. Ability to encourage and model effective work habits and work effectively with diverse groups, individually or in a team environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write routine reports and correspondences and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) or aptitude to learn and understand such technologies.
  • Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Must be a proactive, self-motivated, action-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve the organization’s sales and growth goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Reading and interpretation skills.
  • Solid math skills, including the ability to perform basic algebra.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the local market area.
  • Aptitude to develop knowledge of the industry within a given market.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills. Skill in negotiating (including listening and persuasion skills) to reach compromise among people with different points of view and close sales.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Lead and support sales go-to-market program development.
  • Translate requirements for business and program initiatives between corporate departments and branch management.
  • Drive sales programs and sales excellence through branch and customer training.
  • Collaborate with digital platform development for sales programs and initiatives.
  • Organize and lead new company initiatives and product launches. Analyze and track ongoing progress and performance. Provide feedback and suggestions to the Executive Leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with management in developing and continuously improving customer-facing programs and resources.
  • Provide technical sales support and training.
  • Support the Operations teams through collaborative forecasting with Sales Leadership in all branches.
