Sales Representative / Customer Service Job at TIE Industrial
Position Description: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking a customer facing role in an innovative and high growth business. This is a full-time role (plus some overtime) that works within our Award-Winning customer service team. The successful candidate will seek to provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat, confidently generate and send quotes to customers, possess a great attention to detail, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent benefits are available after a successful 90-day onboarding period.
Reports To: Customer Service Team Lead
Skills / Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 year's demonstrable experience in a customer service setting - or business equivalent
· Experience in a B2B or Manufacturing industry preferred but not required
· Passion and commitment to establishing customer relationships
· Integrity and honesty when resolving conflicts
· Dependable
· Team player
· Ability to multi-task and handle high volume
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written
· Must have proficient ability to read and write English
· Self-starter with the ability to excel in a team environment
· Strong computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, etc.)
· Demonstrated success in prior customer service or customer relationship role is highly desirable
· Experience working in a “business to business” support environment is desirable
· Salesforce.com experience desired but not necessary
Position Duties:
· Answers phones and responds to emails/chats quickly and efficiently
· Works closely with customers to determine requirements and answers basic technical questions
· Generates and sends accurate quotes in a suitable timeframe
· Confirms and processes quotes through to sales orders
· Initiates possible warranty process and tech troubleshooting requests
· Ensures customer satisfaction with all correspondence
· Occasional overtime work is expected during the week and after-hours coverage once every 5 weeks
