The Role:
Cognex is looking for a motivated analyst to join our Global Sales Operations team and begin their career as a Cognoid. This Analyst role would serve as a key member of our Go to Market function and partner with sales, product, and finance leadership to execute, analyze, and report on Cognex’s strategic solutions initiatives and performance.

Example Responsibilities:
  • Overall frontline support of all sales administrative tools and processes for global solutions businesses including CRM support, territory management, data validation, etc.
  • Conduct in-depth, regular analyses and develop reports for sales teams and business unit to inspect global solutions business performance.
  • Support product and sales leaders in implementing and executing strategic go to market initiatives across regions and verticals.
  • Manage the monthly sales booking forecast, providing market information to sales leaders, consolidating regional inputs and reviewing for accuracy & commercial reality.
  • Manage the annual bottoms-up sales planning process, reconciling account level sales inputs with top-down corporate guidance and inputting goals into our CRM.

  • Positive and enthusiastic collaborator within internal team and cross-functionally
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum education and work experience required:
  • 2+ years of Finance/Sales Operations experience is desired
  • Experience with CRM and data visualization tools, specifically Salesforce and PowerBI, is preferred
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel and using functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables is required
