SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Director of Outside Sales, the Solar Selling Sales Manager is responsible for the training, development, and performance of our sales team in the Phoenix Market. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with a track record of leading revenue-generating teams through significant growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership in the development of our people, services, and our processes
  • Serve as subject matter expert on items related to solar sales in assigned market
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Lead weekly team meetings to review metrics, communicate organizational directives, and engage with team
  • Handle escalated customer concerns
  • Conduct annual performance management for team members, recommending additional learning opportunities and recommending promotions
  • Approve customer promotions and discounts, as necessary
  • Conduct in-home solar sales presentations

REQUIREMENTS

  • We're looking for experienced top performing solar sales experts only
  • Must be a proven and verifiable solar sales closer
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the solar industry, with 2-4 years in a sales management capacity preferred
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to motivate and engage employees
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Must have a valid TX driver’s license
