We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a passion for hospitality sales, to fill the Sales Manager position for our Buckhead located hotel - Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead Pharr Road.
Job Description:
  • The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and generating profitable new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Identify and qualify new business through cold calling, internet research, outside sales calls and sales blitzes
  • Conduct site inspections and sales presentations for potential clients
  • Maintain an on-going list of target accounts to ensure there are new accounts in the pipeline
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to saturate accounts and increase revenues
  • Generate proposals and contracts, conduct negotiations and close business
  • Capture existing business in the market through research, networking and soliciting accounts
  • Maintain contact with in-house guests and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Represent the hotel in community and industry events
  • Respond to leads and inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Anticipate customer problems and provide solutions
  • Maintain client database and accurate records
  • Generate sales reports
  • Participate in internal meetings and communicate to various departments about accounts, groups and meetings
  • Develop measurable weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Achieve budget revenue goals
  • Abide by all hotel and company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:
  • Must have previous hotel sales experience
  • Must possess a good knowledge of computerized hotel systems and have the ability to effectively and efficiently utilize multiple computer systems
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekends
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests and clients
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, stay organized, multi-task and set and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain complete and thorough records
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor
  • Professional and ethical

The position offers Quarterly Performance Bonuses.
