Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Route Technician for the greater Plainview, NY area.

Responsibilities include:

· Pick-up and delivery services of automotive wheels to existing customers

· Loading and unloading of wheels in a safe and efficient manner

· Expanding wheel routes by actively seeking out new customer opportunities

· Operate Elite Rim vehicle in a safe and efficient manner

· Remove and Reinstall wheels on vehicles.

We are not looking for just anybody, but rather someone who is willing to combine their skills, and CAN-DO attitude to come and grow with us. You will be responsible for calling on assigned customers and developing relationships with automobile dealerships, automotive body shops and retail tire stores.

Requirements of position:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must be 21 or older

· 2 years of delivery/transport driver experience preferred

· Knowledge of jacking vehicles up and removing the wheel is a plus

· Ability to plan and stick to a route

· Good navigation skills with an ability to follow GPS directions – familiarity with Tri-State/Greater Long Island and surrounding area. Knowledge of commercial routes in the NY/NJ area.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

· Friendly and outgoing attitude

· Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

· Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks

· Excellent communication skills

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

· Self-starter willing to work in both hot and cold extremes
