Wood is currently sourcing for a Tool Room Attendant to join our team for an outage in Malaga, New Mexico. You must be familiar with tools and consumables. Have the ability to hand out and receive both tools and welding wire. Inspect tools consumables and equipment for defects. You must be knowledgeable in maintaining and repairing tools. Have the ability to track and order consumables, tools and to maintain a log of distribution for tools, consumables and weld wire distribution.

Responsibilities:
- Stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that can’t be handled by material handling devices
- Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type, style, or color
- Moves materials and supplies from warehouse and prepares for delivery
- Fills requisition, work orders or request for materials, tools or stock items
- Records material items received or distributed
- Maintain inventory records
- Perform routine housekeeping task to maintain work area
- Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines
- Keeps MSDS books up to date
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment Performs other duties as required
- Inspect vehicle, and check gas, oil, and water levels prior to departure
- Perform DOT Pre-Trip Inspection (if applicable)
- Park vehicles at loading areas so that passengers can board
- Follow safety rules as individual(s) board and exit car or buses or cross streets near bus or car stops
- Drive multi-passenger vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules to transport passengers, complying with traffic and plant regulations
- Maintain order among passengers during trips to ensure safety
- Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs
- Keep bus or car interiors clean for passengers
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
Use effective communication skills- Be capable of listening and communicating with other supervision and employees
- Be motivated and work safely and productively
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead without difficulty
- Understand and respond accordingly to all safety alerts, warnings, hazards, etc
