JOB DESCRIPTION: As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Personal Shopper/DUG clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service.
This position, with the use of a computer, is responsible for compiling online merchandise orders for customers. The Personal Shopper/DUG clerk will process approximately 10-20 orders per day. Using a hand-held computer and printed list of items the Personal Shopper will retrieve items from the shelves to fill the on-line order, checking and bagging requested grocery items. Once the order is complete, the Personal Shopper will return to the processing area for verification and to load the order on to the delivery truck. The personal shopper is responsible for accurate and timely assembly of customer's online product orders from the store shelves to the delivery truck or customer's car.
