HTG Supply - Part Time Sales Associate

We are hiring for a Part Time Sales Associate 1-2 days a week. If you have a passion for gardening and growing plants, we want to talk to you! HTG Supply is looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual with hydroponic and indoor gardening experience to join our team.

What does an HTG Supply retail sales associate do?

You will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service through innovative product offerings, hands-on gardening knowledge, and assisting in store duties. The sales associate follows the manager's lead and sets the tone of the store through the advocacy of HTG Supply and our products.

You should have a strong grasp on how to cultivate a garden, operate a cash register, and communicate concepts and information effectively.

HTG Supply is the nation’s leading retailer for growing anything indoors. Our retail outlets provide equipment, hardware, and consumables to serious gardeners, greenhouses, nurseries, and anyone looking to up their cultivation game.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Efficient, Friendly, and Superior Service
• Assist in Managing Store Inventory via Counts & Stocking
• Front & Face Inventory
• Opening & Closing procedures
• Operating Point of Sale
• Create Ongoing Relationships with Customers
• Maintain High Housekeeping Standards
• Assist Stump Tea Tuesdays
• Keep a Thriving Demo Garden In-Store

Requirements: Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills are essential
• Personality that supports efficiency, hard work, and a “can do” attitude
• Must have reliable transportation
• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Experience in retail sales
• Hands-on experience with gardening and keeping plants
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry
• Must be able to lift at least 60lbs

Job Type: Part-Time

Typical Earnings: $17-$19 hour

Additional Compensation: Discretionary Bonuses, Store Rewards

Schedule: Max of 29 hours per week
