Job Summary: The Retail Merchandise Warehouse Associate will support the Retail Merchandise Manager by enabling warehouse operations through supporting production, transferring, and storing, and picking activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

• 
  Properly organize the warehouse to ensure all materials are readily accessible, countable, and identifiable
• Ensure all product is appropriately identified: Price tagged, Size Run, Sale marked downs adjusted
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately into their locations within the warehouse
• Ensure high levels of accuracy in inventory integrity and daily operations
• Prepare stock materials in designated inventory locations and inform Management of shortages or damages
• Assist with fulfilling orders and distributing orders to various end consumer locations
• Assist with preparing, counting and reconciling end of month inventory
• Minimize inventory loss, scrap, adjustments, and variances
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and safety regulation.
• Run errands as needed
• Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and or prior experience in retail fulfillment or similar field or job duties
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals pertaining to retail merchandise and marketing
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and management.
• Ability to communicate and present information effectively
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to develop new and unique ideas
• Ability to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, use hands to finger, type, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must have ability to smell and taste. The Employee must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
