Retail Associates: This position pays $15/hour during the week and $16.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend availability is required.
Retail Associate Clothing or Hardgoods
- Assisting in the production of donations into saleable form and preparing non-saleable donations for return to be recycled if possible.
- Determining sale prices and placing item on the sales floor.
- Must be able to reach and maintain production goals as stated by each sub-category of goods. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly production area with safety practices enforced.
- Responsible for maintaining excellent and courteous relations with customers in the retail store and for providing good customer service when receiving donations.
- Must be at least 16 years or age
- Ability to communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
- Ability to use all Store equipment, including phones, registers and PC as required.
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store.
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds. Associates who work in production must have the ability to regularly push, pull and lifting to 50 pounds while working both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
- Flexibility to adapt and change duties as needed by the store management.
