Restaurant Manager- Please see the document posted below for the job description/responsibility. (See Below) Tremendous room for growth as I am ultimately looking to train someone to be the General Manager. First few weeks of training is paid hourly starting at $20+/hour. Position Expectations;

Restaurant Manager (44-46hrs&5dayseweek)

(PTO & Vacation, Medical Benefits, Bonus Opportunities)

  • Run the basic operations for a full opening or closing restaurant shift
  • Manage up to 30 employees in the building at the same tune, ensuring they are do their jobs properly and stay on task
  • Basic money management, counting, and accounting for daily cash flow.
  • Holding the staff accountable to ensure and maintain our high standards. Complete a daily task and check list.
  • Ensuring that guests receive a proper experience.
  • Prompt and friendly customer service to address and affect any issues. \
  • Ability to adapt to situations and troubleshoot or improvise when new issues arise.
  • General understanding of our Toast POS system.
  • Expediting food when necessary.
  • Maintain the family feel and atmosphere we have created with our staff.

Added Responsibility (First Target for Pay Increases)

  • Knowing how to run a bar shift including make every single drink requested necessary OR knowing how to run a line cook shift including making every single dish that can be ordered.
  • Take over the responsibility of an order. Full inventory, purchasing, stocking, and tracking for one of the following Beer & Wine, Liquor, Dry Goods, or Food Order.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle staff and guest issues professionally to my standards of accountability.
  • Have a great understanding of our Toast POS system and the back end. Ability to make the proper changes to the menu and modifiers as well as correct issues with checks and gift cards.
  • Plan, schedule, and run a monthly department meeting with the associated staff
  • Demonstrate your ability to come up with new ideas or improve old ones. Complete a portion of the monthly administrative and maintenance check list.
  • Be involved in catering orders and large party private party planning.
  • Be involved in the hiring process and interviews.

Additional Pay Increases

  • Knowing how to run any position during any shift. This includes every item or service we sell and prep from drinks to food.
  • The ability to complete any and all orders necessary to operate the restaurant.
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete the hiring process from start to finish without any help and to my standards.
  • Demonstrate the ability to correctly take catering orders and private party/events without guidance. Complete understanding of our Toast POS system, to where you can troubleshoot any and all issues.
  • Ability to make department employee department schedules that staff the restaurant accordingly for the week.
  • Show the initiative and ambition to just get little things that need to be done completed without having to be asked to.
  • Attention to detail, where you can catch mistakes while they are happening. Better yet, anticipate the mistakes before they even start.

Highest Position (Ultimately looking for a General Manager)

-Run the restaurant with complete confidence and handle any and all staff issues to my standards.
-Have my confidence to make restaurant and staff decisions without my approval.
-Full responsibility for the restaurant and my staff.
