Qualified candidates should have a passion to provide outstanding guest service, possess exceptional communication and follow through skills and can adapt to the constantly changing environment. Applicants should be able to work all open hours, including weekends and holidays. Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but not required with past guest service management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
  • Prepare shift schedules
  • Process payroll for all restaurant staff
  • Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed
  • Awareness of portion control and supply costs and look for opportunities to improve those areas.
  • Assist with staffing by overseeing interviewing, onboarding, orientation and training.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and health guidelines
  • Gather guests’ feedback and find solutions to improve the guest experience.

Skills

  • Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha, R365 and OLO
  • Good math, reporting and communication skills
  • Guest first attitude
  • Team building with staff to improve retention and morale.
  • Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
  • High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
