Overview:
  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $20.90 - 26.81 / hour . Wage determinations will be based on related experience.
  • Shift differentials are additional pay for evening/overnight shifts worked.


We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to enhance and/or maintain the assisted living or memory care residents’ physical and emotional well-being.


This care giver position includes;

  • 0.9FTE or 72 hours in two weeks
  • Overnight shift 10:15PM-6:45AM
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under direction of Nurse provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Performs specified home services as needed such as laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assists with onboarding of new staff
Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • If under 18, must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with empathy and compassion for residents and coworkers
  • Ability to work in a team setting and support others
  • Ability to work with a diverse and elderly population

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Previous work experience or formal training/education as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA or similar preferred
  • Work experience in a customer service setting preferred
