Job Summary

Fulfills stockroom requisitions submitted by various departments, working in the warehouse and/or production floor environment, involving lifting and forklift driving. This position will be required to meet multiple time-sensitive deadlines of varying urgencies to keep the production lines moving. This position will be required to communicate directly with multiple stakeholders throughout the production line to ensure material needs are met and production lines continue to move forward.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all stock requisitions are filled in a timely manner.
• Review all requisitions against the stockrooms inventory to identify any material variances.
• Must be able to give accurate feedback on specific part classifications.
• Develop relationships with employees throughout the campus to understand demand and needs.
• Ensure requisitions are delivered to the correct areas.
• Understands all processes and commodities of the warehouse to give timely and accurate services.
• Be able to identify the needs of the customer if the individual part varies.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One to three years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Job requires mathematical skills.
• Computer experience is preferred as well as communication skills with management, corporate purchasing commodity managers, and purchasing buyers.
• Requires visual acuity.
• Must have good manual and finger dexterity.
• Ability to use forklifts, and order pickers.
• Ability to climb ladder.
• Ability to meet multiple time-based deadlines with varying degrees of urgency.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately
• Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
• Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.
