Repair Technician Job at Boekel Scientific
Position Overview
This position involves equipment repair and service along with providing technical support on customer product issues. This position will work closely with engineering, manufacturing and customer service departments.
Reporting
Position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on internally manufactured products, as well as customer return products.
- Conduct root cause analysis with written diagnostic, of electrmechanical problems.
- Complete all requested service in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Work internally with various departments including customer service, engineering and assembly.
- Provide support when needed to Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications
- Ability to read electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
- General computer proficiency is required.
- Knowledge of Solidworks, computer aided drafting software a plus.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Two to three years of experience preferred.
- Degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technologies or a similar field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
