• Review Subcontractors Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) deliveries to ensure quality.
• Conduct Obsolescence/DMSMS research and spares management.
• Assist with Obsolescence Management and Reliability Program Plans.
• Track maintenance actions for Asset Availability and System Availability.
• Communicate clearly and be able to present in a clear in concise manor.
• Verify Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability requirements.
• Preparation of routine program obsolescence, availability, and reliability reports for delivery to the customer
• Track and report on changes to the program obsolescence priority list
• Interfaces with the customer and management at major design review meetings and technical interface meetings
• Develops service life extension test plans, supports test execution and prepares test reports.
• Updates existing Probabilistic Reliability Assessment (PRA) model with emerging flight test data, stockpile reliability program data, ground test data, risks and failure modes, under guidance of lead Systems Engineer.
• Assists in development and delivery of future phases of the Probabilistic Reliability Assessment (PRA) reliability model.

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• Experience with Failure Mode & Effects Analyses or Experience with Mean Time To Repair Estimates
• Experience with calculating Mean Time Between Failures (MTBFs)
• Experience with Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS).
• Remote, but readily assessible to Huntsville, AL Gateway complex and Redstone Arsenal. Ability to obtain access to NASA facilities including Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Alabama, Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in Louisiana, and Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Mississippi.

• Experience with Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECAS) • Experience with Failure Reporting And Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS), Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), Failure Records, and Trending Analysis. • Experience with Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability RAM Predictions.
• Ability to obtain access to NASA facilities including Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Alabama, Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in Louisiana, and Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Mississippi.
