Medical Office Receptionist

Full Time

Orlin & Cohen, one of the largest providers of musculoskeletal care in the region is seeking a receptionist to work in the outpatient therapy department, in one of our multiple offices located in Queens/Nassau County/Suffolk County. In this patient facing role, you will be an important part of a team of clinical professionals and administrators whose job it is support and enhance the delivery of care to patients. Medical Office Receptionist Candidate Attributes:

  • Has excellent communication, organizational, time management and follow up skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment

  • Bilingual a plus but not required

Medical Office Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer service
  • Patient registration
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Typing various correspondence, generating reports
  • Preparation of statistical data
  • Maintaining patient files
  • Collecting payments
  • Keeping inventory of supplies
  • Ordering supplies
  • Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 1+ year of medical office experience
  • Excellent oral, written, computer and customer service skills
