Registered Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine - Perrysburg - Full Time - Days Job at ProMedica
Under the direction of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician, independently performs specialized ultrasounds and other technical procedures to assess fetal well-being in the pregnant women of all ages.
- Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent training that is accepted by the ARMDS and must be registry eligible.
- OB or L&D experience highly preferred
- Requires registry in Obstetrics/Gynecology specialty.
- Current certification required as Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Must provide proof through primary source verification of current ARDMS registration.
- Current certification in nuchal translucency/first trimester screen or obtained within 12 months of hire. Annual re-certification of nuchal translucency required.
- Registry eligible sonographers must successfully complete all requirements within 12 months of hire date. If this is not completed, the employee will be terminated.
