Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Nurse Job in Espanola, NM
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team on a contract basis in Espanola, NM. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the current specialty and be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have an active NM or compact license and must not permanently reside within a 75-mile
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care to mother and baby during labor and delivery
Perform fetal monitoring and assessment of maternal and fetal well-being
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Administer medications and interventions as ordered by the physician
Float to MSP/ICU/ER and other areas as needed
Participate in orientation and EPIC training
Requirements:
2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
Active NM or compact license
BLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certifications required
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
Must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during the first week of assignment
EPIC experience preferred
