DENTAL HYGIENIST (WEST LINN, OR)

This is a beautiful opportunity for a dynamic person to join a friendly staff with a great atmosphere who will work as a team player in alignment with our goal as a family practice.

We seek a Dental Hygienist who shares our passion for patient care and education.

Hours: Three days a week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient by all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on the importance of preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on schedule, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Minimum requirements:

· Highly motivated professional

· A morning person who is dependable, enthusiastic with a positive attitude is mandatory

· Excellent time management and analytical skills with the ability to quickly resolve issues

· Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients.

· Knowledge of computer charting and digital x-rays using Carestream Practice works/kodak software a bonus, but not required

· Has excellent treatment acceptance from patients

· Experience 2+ years is best

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• West Linn, OR 97068: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• OR R.D.H, Endorsements of Local Anesthesia/ Nitrous oxide (Preferred)
• BLS Certification and CPR (Preferred)
