We are seeking a Regional Training Instructor to join our team in Whitehouse, Ohio and provide training for the needs of ***’s Automotive Refinish Group. As Regional Trainer, you will lead the development and execution of technical training programs, manage a physical training center, and conduct training on Refinity such as mix and scan, RO management, and inventory management. Additionally, you will conduct courses for internal team members, distributor team members and end customers and teach in-person as well as virtual classes. You will also be the content expert on projects that deal with helping to build e-Learning modules. You will be looked upon as the digital expert with all our digital tools and leader in social media avenues.
The role is critical in executing ***’s strategy to build training as a competitive advantage and will require an innovative thinker who can drive new, digital solutions that elevate our training and add value for our customers. In addition, you must possess strong technical skills in the automotive refinish industry, advanced facilitation skills, and general knowledge of business operations in the collision repair industry.


Qualifications - External
Formula for Success

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least 5 years in the automotive collision industry as well as previous training expertise or a high school diploma, ten years of industry expertise and previous training expertise. You will manage the training facility and all that encompasses a hard site, while operating within ***’s standards and codes, and maintaining alignment with local regulations.
  • Relying upon your experience training, designing, and implementing curricula, you will lead and facilitate training courses for internal and external customers, both in-person and virtually, including technical and Refinity such as mix, scan, RO management, and inventory management.
  • Displaying your experience in leading and facilitating groups and your strong leadership skills, you will manage a training facility, including working with co-workers, agencies, and vendors to obtain third party services for maintenance and on-going operations.
  • Combining your excellent ability to leverage digital solutions to train and your innovative approaches to training, you will research and implement new training methods and digital solutions to drive innovation in our training procedures and add value with customers. You will also Identify future training opportunities and create a curriculum to facilitate that training.
  • Utilizing your expert proficiency with applying automotive refinish products, you will develop and coordinate training material for certifications and other courses that pertain to the refinish process. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point and navigate multiple computer software packages.
  • Your excellent team building, and organization skills will serve you well, as you participate on the User Acceptance Team for Refinity color and business solutions, as well as assist in development of ideas and strategies for value-added programs and services.
  • Demonstrating your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, you will actively participate in collision industry events to support ***’s initiatives.
