Recruiting Assistant Job at DVMElite

DVMElite Remote

Recruiting Assistant

DVMelite is a professional services firm with a passion for supporting small, independently owned medical practices by helping to level the playfield so they can thrive alongside larger competitors! With three business lines, including two teams of talented business advisors, and a technology based telecom platform, members are able to attract and retain patients, clients, and the top-talent to serve them.

Now more than ever before, the small practices we serve depend upon us to guide them as they lead their own teams. As a result, Dream Team Elite, our member-facing HR Division is growing!

We are in search of an experienced HR Assistant to join the team, helping to guide members on positive culture, HR compliance, hiring top talent and all other things HR, all while performing internal generalist duties for our company! This is a fully remote opening with no travel required.

Core Responsibilities

In Recruiting, no two days are alike but in general, Recruiting Assistants get to:

  • Develop rapport, working hard to build open, honest, and positive relationships with your members and teammates.
  • Provide Recruiting Advice to practice owners and leaders using a consultative approach that inspires learning as well as problem solving.
  • Provide HR Advice and Assistance to our internal HR department.
  • Find top talent for your members by conducting varying levels of recruiting services.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in other divisions to help members reach goals.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate data, notes, and other records regarding your members.
  • Contribute freely where your expertise can add value to the team and organization by suggesting projects and improvements.
  • Attend daily team huddles and weekly company meetings via phone and/or Google Meet.

Of course, these are just the main functions of the role! You will get to perform other responsibilities in support of your members, your team, and the company. As with any organization, these responsibilities are sure to change and evolve as we grow.

Qualifications

To help serve the members of the Dream Team Elite Division, you should meet the below qualifications!

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Human Resources, preferably with smaller businesses or locations.
  • Since we are a fully remote organization, the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Significant experience interpreting and advising Recruiting Strategies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience conducting full-cycle recruiting for both front-line and professional level positions including experience managing multiple openings at one time.
  • A consultative approach to HR with experience helping senior management and business owners plan and achieve strategic goals.
  • Business acumen. You should understand common business concepts and how they all work together toward the success of the practice.
  • MUST be Tech Savvy! You should be someone who quickly and easily learns new apps, sites, and tools.
  • A quiet work space. Occasional guest appearances from pets and family members are okay but we do ask for a high level of professionalism, especially when communicating with members.
  • A track record of enthusiastically welcoming and embracing changes. We are evolving and growing which means our internal processes and plans are, too. You should thrive in periods of change - not just survive it! We understand that this type of environment isn't a fit for everyone but if it sounds exciting to you, you are the kind of team member we're hoping to find.

Hours & Availability

In general, you should be available during regular business hours in the Central and Eastern time zones. We do have members in the Mountain and Pacific time zones so some availability to accommodate them is necessary as well.

Connection is important in a remote environment so you should be able to attend daily team huddles and weekly company meetings via phone and/or Google Meet.

We know one of the greatest benefits of remote work is the ability to integrate your professional and personal lives in a way that makes sense for you. As long as your members are happy, your priorities are met, and your work is complete, you are free to work whenever it makes sense for you.

This position is considered part-time at 15 to 25 hours per week, depending on the needs of your members and time needed for internal projects you are interested in contributing toward.
