The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, organized, exhibits a positive attitude, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must thrive working in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to take initiative and provide quality work within a fast-paced environment. Accounting experience is plus, this is an entry level position with advancement opportunities for the ideal candidate. PLEASE NOTE - this is a small office. You will be expected to work on your own for the better part of the day.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Telephone reception, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, resolving questions, and presenting a positive face to the public.
  • Proof, process, and post payments
  • Inventory: to include receipts, transfers, PO's
  • Other duties, assignments, etc. deemed necessary by the supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Quality focus, problem-solving, logical thinker, quick and accurate, energetic, advanced level Microsoft Office skills including Excel required. Accounting knowledge is a plus. Learn quickly. Petroleum experience is a bonus.

Provide excellent customer service. Be courteous with all associates - work well with others. Be punctual. Promote safe work habits by following company safety procedures. Complete job responsibilities timely and accurately. Willing to learn. Maintain a neat clean appearance, workspace, and department. Continuously try to improve.

COMPENSATION:

Starting Salary: $15.75 to $16.50 dependent on experience

Salary Range: $15.75 to $25.00 dependent on experience

These benefits are available to full time employees.

401(k) - Full time and part time employees are eligible to enroll in the company 401(k) plan following a predetermined amount of time. This option comes with a company match of up to 4%.

Days Off – Employees will accrue 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, one personal day on the 1st of January each year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Other – Employees may be eligible for an annual bonus.
