JOB TITLE: Receiving Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Finance
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for receiving packages and deliveries. Duties include (but are not limited to) receiving supplies, equipment, and materials for AHI operations; internal deliveries and staging; order status updates; obtaining updates from vendors and offsite AHI locations; and establishing and maintaining efficient systems for receiving and recording shipments with accuracy and clean data records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for receiving supplies, equipment, and other deliveries from vendors.
- Records deliveries for completeness. Checks for accuracy of orders and resolves discrepancies.
- Follows up with back orders, discrepancies, and replacements to ensure all orders are complete.
- Oversees distribution to departments and staff.
- Communication of order status and ETAs to end user.
PAY RANGE: $20-23/hr to start (dependent upon experience)

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED with some college-level coursework related to business. Post-secondary specialized training or education of one or more years and two to three years of related experience.
EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Minimum of two years logistics and/or receiving experience, preferably in a health care setting.
