The Receiving Coordinator is accountable for maintaining the overall appearance of the backroom, and the efficient flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. They are to consistently provide Amazing customer service to both internal and external customers while being involved and motivated toward the goals of the entire store operation with a willingness to assist in any area they are needed. To maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise product, own assigned departments and support the store management team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned as needed):

Receives, opens, sorts and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking paperwork against items received when required.

Efficiently manages the movement of product from the backroom onto the sales floor.

Displays and maintains merchandise on end caps, shelves, top shelves of the sales floor, counters or tables following company plan-o-gram, building displays when necessary to attract customers and promote sales within specified guidelines by your management team.

Maintains on-hand integrity through inventory adjustment reports including; cycle count, and negative on-hand.

Adheres to corporate directives by following all policies and procedures relevant to your functions.

Working knowledge of the tools available to operate the store; including, but not limited to: RF Gun, Back Office Procedures and the use of Store Opportunities.

A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required along with the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Must be able to communicate effectively, and work with colleagues and customers effectively and professionally.

RELATIONSHIPS

Communicates with all members of store management, store supervisors, store associates, the Support Center personnel as necessary.

TECHNOLOGY

Use of computer keyboard, mouse, and the RF Gun.

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
