POSITION TITLE: Quality Specialist

SUMMARY: The candidate will be required to work onsite in LaGrange, GA with our
Research and Development team. Daily tasks will include mat quality testing, new product prototype testing, and documentation of related R&D tasks including internal and external testing procedures and results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Serves as testing expert for all new and existing products
• Understands and executes all test methods required for products relevant to all market segments in correlation to relevant ASTM, ANSI, and other formal testing standards
• Serves as quality liaison working with various plant managers and manufacturing facilities
• Understand and follows all safety standards
• Records and maintains testing results, compiles, and prepares forms, reports analyses, and sample documentation; and analyzes test results to identify trends and patterns.
• If required, responsible for coordinating external testing with appropriate and approved outside testing companies

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to troubleshoot complex, technical problems
• Ability to identify, track, and investigate various details
• Ability to identify, understand, maintain, and improve business processes
• Desire to improve both professional and technical skills
• Bilingual is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University is a plus. Requirements for this position are attention to detail, integrity, sense of urgency and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Standard office hours (7:00 am to 3:00 pm); While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May be required to travel between various plants within LaGrange, GA.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
