Job Description
Quality Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of all IATF 16949:2016 ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
In coordination with the Quality Manager and the Assistant Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer primarily determines the requirements to develop and maintain our quality system procedures and objectives to meet the IATF 16949:2016 ISO 9001:2015 standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 year Engineering degree in Mechanical or Industrial discipline
- Experience in dealing with both internal and external customers
- Knowledge of various problem solving techniques such as 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc.
- Knowledge of the APQP Core System (PPAP, MSA, CP, PFMEA, SPC)
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and make recommendations as necessary
- Six Sigma methodology training/experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing
- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, etc.) required
- Strong verbal and written communications as well as ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate strong technical writing skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $56,786.01 - $90,000.00 per year
