Job Title: QC Technical Admin

General Duties: As an QC (QA / Quality) team member at Consolidated Packaging Group, you will be expected to take on and demonstrate cultural compliance within the food safety and quality systems. The main role of this position is office technical work is relevant to GFSI, SQF and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for the follow objectives:

  • Facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Maintains filing systems as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains QA Lab/office supplies and coordinates maintenance of QA equipment.
  • Performs daily preoperational QA facility inspections.

Specific Duties:

  • Supplier Management (Supplier documentation requests & filing, record reviews, and updating the register) > Annual document requests > Trending reports and supplier assessments > Supplier Audit team member
  • Internal Documentation (reviewing and filing internal QA records and documenting actions)
  • Digital (JIRA technical data system) & physical documentation >Doc Control Register >SOP creation and translation >Editing documents under the control system >Maintain the records, review, filing, and trending (customer concerns, Internal QC start up inspections, run inspections, non-conformity reports, audit reports, and CAPA) o Internal Audit team member and reporting, and trending. o Team memberships for the following Programs: QA, Recall, Crisis, EHS & Safety, Internal
  • Auditing, and Food Defense & Security.
  • Customer Compliance o Documentation requests, and data base systems, responses, and trails. o Questionnaire’s completion and filing, and customer packet. o Technical benchtop testing on items and materials. o Customer complaint team member (Trending, sample pulling, documenting, investigations, filing, and response)

A qualified candidate must:

  • Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve SQF objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Computer skills, Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
  • Be willing to work OT and perform Night audits and inspections.
  • Must speak Spanish
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Preferences (Photoshop, GFSI, SQF, BRC HACCP experience)

Job Type

  • Full Time Salary Monday to Thursday 9hr days, Friday’s (4-6hr day), Sundays when requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
