American Heritage Credit Union, a $4.5+ billion financial institution has an excellent opportunity available at our Main Campus in Northeast Philadelphia as a Quality Control Insurance Claims Processor.

Ensure that insurance claims are properly filed by gathering information and submitting documentation that will determine the amount of recovery for internal and external membership. Claims consist of but are not limited to skips, payment protection, total loss, repossession, damage, property, claims and balancing and issuing checks to contractors. This service will be delivered via professional actions, accountability and with integrity.

  • Audit all consumer loan documents for accuracy and completeness (ex: auto, unsecured, MasterCard, and indirect and real estate loans).
  • Track loss prevention claims on real estate and auto loans.
  • Disburse funds to repair facilities for loss prevention of real estate and auto.
  • Respond to all ticket request in a timely manner.
  • Apply all payments received by Asset Recovery as a recovery or payment agreement.
  • File all Debt Protection Cleaims (Credit Life, Disability, Involuntary Unemployment)
  • Apply all claim type payments daily from General Ledgers to members loan.
  • Reconcile State National , Delertrack, Debt Protection, Escrow, JMA General Ledgers.
  • Works directly with vendors, dealerships, and insurance companies to secure payments owed regarding our collateral.
  • Process and gather all documentation for total loss claims.
  • Track and release all titles pertaining to a total loss vehicle.
  • File Gap claims for members with deficiency balance due to total loss.
  • Cancel warranty products for members with deficiency due to total loss.
  • File insurance claims with State National such as Theft, Total Loss and Damage Claims.
  • Request Gap and Warranty refunds for all Repossessed vehicles.
  • File Safe Claims for Repossessed Vehicles and Total Loss ( Lender's Protection)
  • Follow up and collect on all claim types for 30 days.
  • Upload proof of insurance to State National.
  • Contact members notifying Forced Placed Insurance.
  • Calculate payments and due dates on increased/decreased loans due to Forced Placed Insurance.
  • Mail notices for Real Estate loans with Forced Placed Insurance.
  • Notify member of potential refunds on GAP products due to early payoff.
  • Track and obtain refunds for Early Payoff GAP refunds.
  • Notify members of deficiency balance once all payments are received.
  • Oversee and work all member email request sent to qcinsurance@amhfcu.org
  • Review loan documents for claims and early payoff.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of all aspects of local, state and federal regulations that affect the credit union.
  • Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained in accordance with American Heritage's Clean Desk Policy.
  • Remain active in the University Program of American Heritage Credit Union and complete the position's present curriculum as outlined in the Online University by completing the following - Credit Union annual required compliance training, the Online University required coursework within assigned timeline, and the supplemental courses listed in the Online University Curriculum within the prescribed timeline

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.

EDUCATION

  • Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school diploma

WORK HOURS

  • Full-time position
  • Occasional overtime and alternating Saturday hours may be required
