This is a remote, work-from-home position. We will consider applicants that reside in the following states: Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.

Pay Range: $24.03 – $26.44 DOE

Position Summary of the
Quality Assurance Specialist:

The Quality Assurance Specialist actively participates in the BU vision through monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct and or improve Bryan University established quality standards. The Quality Assurance Specialist's responsibilities include developing standards, conducting tests, and assessments to identify issues with the execution of programs and support services. This position is responsible for understanding, assessing the effectiveness of, and helping to improve processes and controls. The Quality Assurance specialist provides assurance and insights to the Chief Operating Officer, Bryan University Leadership, and collaborates with department heads across the University.


Responsibilities of the
Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Monitor and evaluate a variety of phone calls, chats, emails, process flows, and compliance measures for effectiveness, consistency of application, quality of communication, and technical requirements
  • Verify process compliance against established processes
  • Analyze currently established processes and provide insights for improvement based on industry best practices
  • Document analysis of process compliance by providing specific and detailed feedback and/or scoring
  • Review reports pertaining to calls to look for trends or patterns in compliance to procedures
  • Provide input on suggested training opportunities and methodology
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of functional requirements of assigned departments
  • Create quality measurements to track improvement in services and programs
  • Develop quality assurance standards and University processes
  • Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing


Requirements of the
Quality Assurance Specialist:

  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in audit or quality assurance role highly preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Effective use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment using software technology including but not limited to Zoom, CampusNexus, MS Office Suite applications (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet)
  • Ability to sit for six to eight hours
