Quality Assurance Engineer Job at AmeriGas Propane, Inc.

The Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist will focus on decreasing wasted time and resources by implementing new and updated systems, training, and analyzing key metrics.
Essential Functions:
- Creates and maintains process improvement measures.
- Establishes and ensures quality of all work done by Transportation Coordinators.
- Creates feedback programs to improve and maintain quality work performed
- Documents quality issues and performance measures for Management review.
- Acts as the subject matter expert in TMW and ASW systems.
- Provides support to Operations and Transport by standing in for Coordinators and Management when needed to eliminate staffing gaps.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with TMW and ASW systems
- Subject matter expert in the field of Logistics and Distribution
- Detail oriented with strong organizational & time management skills
- Training design and implementation
- Analytical and capable of translating data into actionable results
- Understanding of Best Business Practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma, BA/BS preferred
- 5+ years' experience in field of continuous improvement, business analysis, or closely related field
