Quality and Compliance Coordinator
The Quality and Compliance Coordinator assists the Compliance Officer with implementing the Quality, Safety and Compliance function of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery, a multi-service industry supporting individuals with behavioral health and/or substance use challenges, brain injuries, and intellectual/developmental disabilities in residential and outpatient settings. In partnership with the Compliance Officer and the Quality, Safety and Compliance Team:

  • Ensures compliance with requirements established by accrediting bodies and funding sources, as well as state licensing requirements.
  • Promotes a culture of compliance through upholding and communicating laws, regulations, policies, standards, and core values.
  • Provides staff training on topics related to quality and compliance.
  • Collaborates with operations and supports alignment with organizational goals, quality improvement plans, compliance plans and risk management programs to meet and exceed service delivery expectations.
  • Conducts targeted internal monitoring and auditing activities.
  • Responds to changing regulatory and accreditation requirements, re-designs policy, procedures and protocol as needed and develops outcomes reports to drive the decision-making related to service quality.
  • Occasional day travel between service locations in Lehigh, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties is required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services-related field or human services management required.
Master’s degree in human services-related field or human services management preferred.
Experience:
Minimum three years’ experience in behavioral health services program compliance or management, or
Five years’ experience in behavioral health with demonstrated responsibility for and success with quality management/quality assurance.
Experience with accreditation compliance and state licensing is a bonus, as the organization maintains 13 licenses with the Department of Human Services and accreditations with The Joint Commission and CARF.
