Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Job at NVDS
Seeking a qualified, compassionate individual to oversee intellectually disabled adults in the Redding area. Candidates will maintain ISP's, serve as liaison with local Regional Center and conservators as well as community agencies, and train Direct Care Staff. $23.00-28.00 DOE.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Arts degree in a social services or human services discipline and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership or management capacity as required by State and Federal regulations, and the approval from D.D.S. in writing that the requirements for the position are met and approved.
- Must have completed, or be willing to complete the QIDP certification course within six (6) months of hire.
- Ability to perform all duties pursuant to all State and Federal statutes governing ICF/DD-H and/or ICF/DD-N facilities covered by Title 22 (State) and CMS (Federal) regulations.
Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, pre-employment physical, and be able to obtain CPR/First Aid card within 90 days of hire.

North Valley Developmental Services, Inc. facilities include an Adult Day Program and multiple houses where up to six (6) individual adults with intellectual disabilities reside.
North Valley Developmental Services, Inc. assists clients in daily living goals and independent living skills. Staff assist personal care and hygiene, household chores i.e. laundry, preparing portioned meals following dietary guidelines on our menus, and general housekeeping.
