Available Position: Purchasing Agent
Description:
Responsible for the procurement of raw materials. Analyzes quotations to ensure that proposals meet with government regulations, accepted trade practices, and assures that all deliveries are in compliance with policies. Schedules deliveries with suppliers. Contacts suppliers regarding material problems, such as delayed receipt, poor quality, wrong items, etc. and resolves issues. Revises, expedites requisitions, conferences with suppliers.
Obtains product information (prices, availability, delivery dates). Selects products/articles per analysis, observation, testing, examining the same. Determines purchase method.

Requirements:
Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. 2 Years of Experience on equivalent position.
Skills: Computer systems proficient, knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting for Manufacturing systems, good communication and FULLY Bilingual. Knowledge on negotiation processes, purchasing, buyer ethics, PO processing, etc. within the production industry. Strong knowledge in computer software’s/ spreadsheets (forms, basic formulas, tables, graphs, such as with Excel, Word). Strong interpersonal relationships, customer service oriented.
Effective organizational skills, very supporting to continuous improvement initiatives.
Works with multiple tasks within constraint timing always maintaining the determination, energy, safety & courtesy.
