If you answered yes, we’d like you to join our Remarketing Team as a Fleet Specialist! This position is critical in developing and managing initiatives related to Penske’s trailer fleet (Penske Trailer Plus/PTP). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team as we continue to enhance our trailer offering.

A Day in the Life:

The main objective of this role is to review rental trailer utilization, determine proper listing strategies, identify potential redistribution tactics, and manage new rental/lease assignments. This position requires coordinating with both our field and corporate management teams with services related to our trailer fleet. Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and AS400 along with Penske’s internal systems will be utilized daily in this role.

Major Responsibilities:

• PTP New Build Inventory and Existing Trailers / Deal Strategy - Responsible for monitoring new build inventory and distributing to rental and lease deals as needed with an understanding of margin impact

• Understand terming lease units to determine if units will be renewed, disposed of or utilized in PTP rental

• Work with PTP Manager on identified opportunities to raise rates in an effort to increase overall trailer RPU in rental and lease product lines

• Respond to field requests quickly and understand that the field is our customer at every interaction and questions must be treated with a sense of urgency

• Execute PTP Reporting and Monthly allocation

• Other projects as assigned by PTP Manager

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in a customer facing support role in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 2 years of PTL corporate or field experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• PTL field experience preferably in Rental
• Proficient with MS Office, Access and Power Point.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively communication both verbally and in writing to all internal and external leadership
• Ability to influence and gain support for recommendations
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
