We are looking to hire a Property Manager/Leasing Agent to manage our 39 unit apartment building in Cathedral City, CA. The successful candidate will be working in the office at the apartment building. You must have at least 2 years of Property Management experience, be fluent in both English and Spanish, and have your own personal transportation. We are offering $25.00 an hour in pay.

This is an abbreviated description of the duties, knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position. Essential functions:

Have at least 2 years of experience in the Property Management Field and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Supervise, schedule work assignments

  • Collects rents/fees and issue receipts for such
  • Maintain confidentiality as it relates to resident/client information
  • Listen/respond to resident complaints, requests and suggestions and work towards resolutions
  • Manage the unit turnover process
  • Assist outside vendors to complete the required work according to their contracted purpose
  • Maintain property log books
  • Serve violations/legal notices
  • Coordinate move-outs
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including those outlined in the employee handbook

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Speak English and Spanish)
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of property management experience
  • Property Management background required
  • Customer Services; People-related business preferred skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact with a diverse population
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, Conflict Resolution and Leadership skills
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Email)
  • Organization and Time Management skills
  • Ability to multi-task Work Environment /Work Schedule:
  • Maintain Office Hours: Full-Time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cathedral City, CA 92234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English and Spanish (Required)

License/Certification:
