RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for a Project Manager -IT to join our team. The Project Manager- IT II will manage one or more moderate to advance complexity cross-functional project teams responsible for delivering defined outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results. Works closely with the Interoperability and Project Management Director, project sponsors, resource managers and others to guide efforts toward achieving intended business results. This position will work Monday-Friday.

(80%) Project Management
  • Manages and communicates a clear vision of the project's objectives, manages project life cycle from start to finish and organizes the project team to achieve them.
  • Co-creates project objectives with the project sponsors and the team, including the definition of completion criteria.
  • Manages relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping the sponsors and key stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables
  • Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives
  • Oversees project documentation and updates to relevant knowledge bases; analyze lessons learned and shares with other project managers
  • Represents project at meetings and with external consultants and departmental and senior management to assure that priorities are communicated and understood, and that progress/delays/issues are reported
  • Determines what constitutes successful closure for all parties. Gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained
  • Works to ensure consistent use of project management standards and best practices.

(10%) Project Management Maintenance and Reporting
  • Maintenance, new user set-up and education for project management and timekeeping tools.
  • Management reporting related to project metrics, timekeeping, and analysis.

(5%) IT Market Calls
  • Leads monthly IT market call meetings, including driving an agenda/and project/issue log.

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
  • 4 years of IT project management experience using project management methodology, techniques, and tools
  • 2 years of IT and/or healthcare experience
Preferred:
  • BA/BS in technology, project management, medical or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or demonstrated progress toward PMP Certification
  • Proficiency with project management and time keeping tools
